Optometrist
Dr. Guy has been caring for patients in Saskatoon since 2012 and loves being part of this community. Originally from Ontario, she completed her undergraduate degree at University of Western Ontario, graduating with distinction from Honours Specialization in Medical Science, before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. She graduated on the Dean's Honour List and was awarded the JC Thompson Memorial Prize for achieving the top mark in her fourth-year clinical courses.
During her training, Dr. Guy completed an internship at the Veterans Affair Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, where she gained valuable experience managing a wide range of eye conditions, including anterior segment disease, retinal disease, and glaucoma, as well as providing pre- and post-operative care for LASIK and cataract surgery.
Dr. Guy has a special passion for children's vision, myopia management, and specialty contact lenses, and she enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and families. She is also passionate about giving back, with volunteer experiences that include travelling to Peru and supporting the Special Olympics.
When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Guy is most often found at the rink or the pool with her four young kids, spending time with her husband Devan and enjoying all the moments that come with family life.
