Optometrist

Dr. Alicia Finch was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK, and has always had a passion for caring for people. After earning her Bachelor of Science at the University of Saskatchewan, she moved to Chicago to pursue her Doctor of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating in 2012.

Throughout her studies, Dr. Finch gained invaluable experience by working at diverse locations such as Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, the University of Kentucky Eye Clinic, the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, and the Illinois Eye Institute. This gave her the opportunity to travel across the U.S. and explore a wide range of practices, with a focus on ocular disease, emergency care, and pediatrics.

After a year of practicing in the Chicago suburbs, Dr. Finch happily returned to Saskatchewan in 2013. She became part of the Vista Eyecare team in 2015, where she continues to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to her patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Finch loves spending time with her husband Kevin, son Henry, and their two dogs, Charlie and Eris. Together, they enjoy traveling, socializing with friends and neighbors, and relaxing at home. Dr. Finch is also an avid collector—her favorite finds include glasswear from every brewery she visits, food-themed glass Christmas ornaments, and of course many pairs of funky eyeglasses.
