Dr. Schamber is originally from Cold Lake, Alberta. He completed two years of undergraduate science at the University of Alberta before transferring into the optometry program at the University of Waterloo. In 1997 he received his doctor of optometry degree with honors. He then traveled to Miami, Florida to complete a residency in Ocular disease and surgical co-management at the world renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Since 1998, he has been in private practice in Saskatoon, leaving only for a one-year sabbatical as a staff optometrist at the eye institute in New Port Richey, Florida.
Dr. Schamber has lectured for the Canadian Diabetes Association regarding the effects of diabetes on the eye, to family physicians on emergency eye care, and to ophthalmology residents about contact lens fitting and assessment. He has been recognized by Bausch & Lomb for excellence in the field of contact lenses, and maintains a special interest in ocular disease and surgical co-management.
Dr. Orr has been practicing for over 15 years and has relocated her practice to Vista Eyecare.
